Daily Delight

Staying completely grounded in your faith when life gets overwhelming can sometimes be tough. I often find myself blaming God and asking, "Why?" I jump to conclusions and end up worse off than I began. When this happens, I am always reminded to look at the story of Job.

We know that Job was blameless and upright, he feared God and turned from evil, yet he was tested. The Lord gave Satan permission to do as he pleased with Job’s life, and as a result of this, he was stripped of everything! God knew Job could handle it, He knew that Job’s faith in him was stronger than the trials of the world.

Staying faithful to God when life seems unbearable is one of the most precious, beautiful, and humbling experiences.

I want to challenge you to change your perspective and see your trials as something positive. Weird, I know. But believe it or not, trials allow us to become stronger disciples of Christ. They deliver lessons, growth—in not only yourself but also your relationship with God—and victory over the enemy! Because with faith, you cannot be shaken. Sister, if you are struggling today, I pray that you rest in the stillness of our God. He wants to wrap you in His love and fill you with his peace. He is your provider, your carer, and your King!
