Daily Delight
What would you do with a crystal ball? Would that make life better or easier to endure?
We can all agree the unknown is terrifying. If you ever find yourself just sitting , thinking about how much you don't know.... it gets really overwhelming really quickly. There are languages, cultures, people, creatures, species, etc. that we have literally never even heard of and probably never will.
I've been in a season of unknowing for almost a year. There are times where all I do is ask 'why' or 'is this really necessary' because it just doesn't add up to me....
But, here is where I find comfort: “...And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God” (Ephesians 3:17-19, NIV).
We aren't meant to know it all. We are meant to know the love of Christ.
What if we simply rest in knowing that we will know what we need to know, when we need to know it?
