When God made us in His image, we were made without a spirit of fear. Imagine yourself, being unable to fear. It can be hard to visualize because it seems so natural to fear. As children, no one taught us how to be afraid of the dark, fearful of rejection or of failure. But, somehow, we became fearful.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Fear is rooted in sin. When sin entered the world, Satan began to use fear as a way to hinder us in our walk with God.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀When you think deeply of your fear(s), what is the root of it all? Is it fear of the unknown? Fear of how something presents itself? Is it fear rooted in unbelief? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Now, think on this: in all of the ever-mounting fears we've acquired in our lifetime, how far away do they make us feel from Abba Father?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀The sense of distance that I'm speaking of, when we come face to face with fear, is not God's desire for us to experience while in relationship with Him. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Never neglect the truth that we are always at war with the enemy. Satan is constantly attempting to kill, steal and destroy your faith and peace! He knows that when you set your heart on worship, gather courage and lift up your head, you will move into the unknown unbothered. You’ll welcome the opportunity to leap from one place to another in faith! You’ll see your reality for what it truly is. Honey, we will walk with thunder in the spirit, binding fear and loosing faith!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Here are some tangible action steps to assist you, in living from a place of victory over fear: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀1. Take time to know and understand what or who triggers you to feel fear.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀2. Ask Holy Spirit to override that spirit of fear.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀3. Come out of agreement with fear. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀4. Offer that fear as a sacrifice to God! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Sis, God is offering us an exchange: our fear, for His power, love, self-control, faith and perfect peace. All of the very gifts that come with our rightful inheritance.
