Daily Delight
"But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace,expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." -Ephesians 2:4-10 (NIV)
Read that again, sis. We are seated in Christ and with Christ in realms beyond our earthly dimension because Christ has defeated death! We are no longer subject to Satan because we have been delivered from his dominion. (Col. 1:13) We reign in life because of Christ's authority over Satan. We can live in the power of this victory without fear! With the Spirit’s help, we have the ability to push back what is dark in the world.What do you see in your life, surrounding community, state, country, or even the world that you know is in direct opposition to the ways of God? Go to your secret place, get quiet before the Lord and ask Him to show you what He wants you to see. Tell Him that you desire to pray His will and His Word concerning what He shows you. Next, with every ounce of belief and passion, intercede accordingly, watching with expectation for Him to move. Such intercession will demand that in order to overthrow the powers of darkness, we must place God on the throne of our heart.. allowing Him to be not only Savior, but Lord of our lives. Daughter of Delight, you must also be willing to uproot anything within yourself that is in opposition to what God has declared over you. Be willing to search yourself, and to be naked before God so that He may complete His good work in you. From this place of surrender, with the power of the Spirit giving you the knowledge and strength to pursue his will, what are you to plant and build up? Whatever your calling, let everything you do be done with the power and passion of God, for the glory of God.
