Daily Delight
Sister,
I don’t know what it is that Jesus wants you to hear today, but I want to invite you to share in the truth that He has placed on my own heart.
A month ago, I was up at 3 AM, struggling maddeningly in prayer. I just could not seem to clear my mind and listen to Christ speaking to me. With merciful love, He broke through the walls that I had created- walls I didn't even know I had put up. He gently spoke to my heart, filling me with an overwhelming sense of clarity and peace.
I continue to find myself reading the words the Holy Spirit inspired in me that night over and over again. I hope that these words will also speak to your heart in some way:
"Come out to Me where it's uncomfortable. At first, it may be colder, a little darker- but bask in the warmth of My rays. Come to Me and let Me hold you. After all, you know that no one else will do. You know that I am not possessive, that you can roam wherever you like. And I can see that you have! You lost little sheep, come home to Me. I know you, and I have called you by name. (John 10:3) I will have My way and you will understand.
You are precious to Me. Come, and stay close. Find rest. Find solace in Me alone. I have given you more blessings than you can see, yet you let many things keep you from Me.Stop clenching your fists, stop trying to flatten your stomach and stop trying to change yourself. I did not make you to be a super model, but a role model. Let go and just look at Me. Give me everything, I want it all. You hide it all behind your back- as if I am not deserving of your brokenness. But I made you. I fought for you. Why won't you let Me win? Why are you so scared of being who I made you to be? You are 'blemished' - you couldn't help that. But I can!
You are stuck in the brambles. Do not worry, I will always come get you. I will always come after you and bring you back home to Me- so long as you recognize My voice, so long as you let yourself be rescued by My love."
Be blessed, sisters
