Wisdom.

 

Have you ever been around someone that has wisdom and thought, “I want to have wisdom like that”? I do...all the time. I have even asked people where they get their wisdom from. Typically, their response is (first) from Scripture and (second) from other wise counsel investing in them.

In Proverbs 3:13 (pictured), wisdom is something that is found. Wisdom gives understanding, but we have to search for it. We can only gain godly wisdom through studying His Word.

 

Scripture tells us “wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere” (James 3:17, ESV). I pray we become a generation that craves and seeks after wisdom, so that we also may be transformed into pure, gentle, full of mercy, and sincere people.

 

Have you seen the radiance that shines out of a Christ-follower that studies Scripture whenever she can? Me too. It is amazing. She longs to spend time in the Word and you can see it. Her wisdom is from above and it is more precious than jewels. Nothing compares!⠀

 

Sister, encourage your people today, but first, spend some time with the Lord in His Word. We all desperately need the wisdom from above to guide and mold us.

 

Let us seek after wisdom today and forever!⠀
