Daily Delight
When we face conflict and get hit with tough circumstances, our emotions can easily get the best of us. Our attitude is quick to change, and we suddenly have a mouthful to say, especially as a woman. We are sensitive to our feelings, and dealing with them can be a real challenge when we become hurt or offended. We have to be on guard about the decisions we make and the things we say.
I found and bought a sign at the store that goes like this, “Lord, keep Your arm around my shoulder and Your hand over my mouth.” I found it to be humorous at first, but there was definitely some truth to it, so I bought it as a reminder for myself. The beauty of receiving Christ is you grow and thrive to be spiritually mature, aware, and the Spirit of discernment is upon you.
Let discernment be your guide. Discernment is the Holy Spirit’s way of making you cautious. If it doesn’t sit right with your spirit don’t do it, say it, or act on it- no matter how much you are hurt or offended.

The Lord deals with us in His own way, as we are not all alike, and we must gain wisdom to be humbled and knowledgeable about what the Word says.
"I, wisdom, dwell together with prudence; I possess knowledge and discretion. To fear the Lord is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech.”
