The past is a hard memory. It can be painful, even shameful. But it is done; it can’t be changed, so forget.
Satan will bring up your past, remind you of your sin, try to capture and bind you to your guilt. But my dears, the past has no hold on you. You have been forgiven, given a blank slate, a fresh start in the goodness of God's mercy and grace. You can stand before Him blameless.
Does God bring up your past? Does He say that what has happened makes you unqualified?
Instead He says "I, yes I alone, will blot out your sins for My own sake and will never think of them again" (Isaiah 43:25, NLT).
The lies that say what you've done and what's been done to you is enough to keep you from moving forward and being a godly woman is straight from the devil. God has forgiven and forgotten our sins.
"He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west" (Psalm 103:12, NLT).
Take for example Rahab. She was a prostitute, the lowest of the low. But with her obedience to God and saving His people, God used her in the lineage of Christ. And Paul – he wasn't just a man who hated Christians; he murdered them by the multitudes! But God grabbed hold of his heart, changed him from the inside, and he became a radical missionary.
"This is a trustworthy saying and everyone should accept it: 'Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners' and I am the worst of them all. But God had mercy on me so that Christ Jesus could use me as a prime example of His great patience with even the worst sinners. Then others will realize that they too, can believe in Him and receive eternal life" (1 Timothy 1:15-16, NLT).

God doesn't care about your past. He cares about your soul and where you'll go after death. He has the power to transform lives. Don't let your past be what hinders you; don’t let Satan deceive you into thinking you're not worthy of goodness. God can use anyone in spite of their past to do His good work.

You’ve been forgiven. Your past forgotten. It’s time to move forward.
