I think two of the biggest lies the enemy tells us have to do with the words ALWAYS and NEVER.He grabs our ear and whispers — over and over again — that we will always be the anxious girl, always be the one left out, and always struggle to fit in. He does his very best to convince us that we’ll always struggle with our weight, always push people away, and always blow our budget.And he doesn’t stop there.In the throws of insecurity, He tries to convince us that we will never be happy, never get our lives together, and never figure out how to manage our emotions. He works furiously to get us to believe our circumstances will never change, our hearts will never heal, and our life will never matter.The enemy? He’s vicious. But he doesn’t have the upper hand.Because of our right-standing with God through Jesus — we don’t have to believe the nasty lies the enemy hisses through his teeth.Because we are God’s prized possessions — we don’t have to fall prey to the distorted whispers of the evil one.Because we are His — we can stand firm on the truth that He is continually and consistently making ALL THINGS new.Our circumstances.Our hearts.Our finances.Our relationships.Our minds. Every last bit of it.

“And he who was seated on the throne said, ‘Behold, I am making all things new.’ Also he said, ‘Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.’” -Revelation 21:5 (ESV).
