Whether you believe it or not, your life has significant purpose. There are actually people depending on you to pave the way. Your obedience to God will affect nations. The thought of not being good enough is a complete illusion. Satan will always attack your purpose because it is the one thing he is most afraid of. Look at the people that surround you at this stage in your life. That is your field and you are a strategic seed planted there to birth significant purpose. It doesn’t matter what job you have, what your social status is or if you’re “good enough.” Matthew 13:32 says, “Though it is the smallest of all the seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree.”It’s not about your status and it wasn’t about the appearance of the seed, but what was inside it; faith that could move mountains. When you stand in the middle of the forest, it’s easy to look at all the tall, strong trees, but often we forget that it all began with a tiny little seed. So when you look at a huge ministry or anything “successful,” remember that it grew because of an ounce of faith from one person.A few weeks ago, I talked about being in a “planting season” and withstanding storms and I know those can be hard, but it’s actually the coolest part. While I was studying trees, I found out that storms actually make trees stronger! They make them grow stronger, able to withstand fervent winds. The stress of the storm winds causes the outer layer of the tree’s trunk to grow faster, helping it to thicken in a shorter amount of time. So rejoice in those sufferings because those storms are actually speeding up your pruning process! And it’s not just one storm that helps a tree grow deeper and stronger where it stands. It’s several storms over time, a series of torrents and gusts. Who can relate?! So if you’re finding yourself planted in the middle of a storm and suffering, you're exactly where you need to be. In fact, suffering was the very thing that saved us.
