Daily Delight
Close your eyes and think of the most beautiful thing you have ever seen. Maybe it’s a gorgeous sunrise or sunset. Perhaps it’s a treasured piece of art.
That, dearest daughter of God, is how the Father sees you.
You are not the sum of followers or likes. Your value is not found in your style or what you wear. Your worth is not found in the imperfections you think you see in the mirror.
Look closer. You are a masterpiece (Ephesians 2:10) that has been handcrafted by the Creator of the universe. There is no flaw in you (Song of Songs 4:7). Made in His image, you are so precious in His eyes.
Your beauty is not found in your outward appearance. Your worth is not based on what you will or will not accomplish. Your value is not found in popularity.
Your beauty shines forth when you earnestly seek the heart of God. Your true, unchanged worth is found in the knowledge that you are a daughter of the King. Your value was forever solidified when God sent His only Son to die so that you might have everlasting life (John 3:16).
Seek the heart of God and His purpose for your life, not the what the world portrays as validation.
What you think are your imperfections, God sees as His beautiful canvas. You lack nothing, as He gave you specific gifts for a reason. Your Creator cherishes you and longs for you to see yourself the way He does. Allow His words to saturate your heart.
You are His treasure.
