What would happen to us if we all truly believed that we are loved by God? Would our countenance change? Would fear and insecurities be unable to touch us? What would happen if we all walked in the authority God gave us?

Revival.

Not just in lost souls but also in our own hearts. If we truly grasped the love He has for us and the authority He's given us, we'd be unstoppable. We would be free.

Satan knows this and devotes his energy to distracting, discouraging, and disarming us. He keeps us from spending time with God and praying. Worst of all, he has us believe we are unlovable. There are many lies the enemy tells us, but this one hinders us most: We are not loved by God.

When we believe this lie, it manifests outwardly: We reject the love of others. We have a hard time loving ourselves and sadly, we reject His love. John 3:16 states, "For God so loved the world, (he loved YOU) that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life" (NIV, emphasis added). And Christ, because He loved us so much, placed himself on the cross to die a painful, humiliating death.

At times it is so hard to fathom how God could love us so much. Despite our secrets and shame, He's crazy in love with us. Nothing could ever change that. Lay whatever lies you've believed about yourself at Jesus' feet and look up. He loves you and is ready to embrace you, no matter what you've done.

Run to Him and be made whole.
