Daily Delight
We do our best to consistently pray, and sometimes we unintentionally get caught up in busyness that we forget or it’s in the back of our minds. Let’s be honest, we all have been guilty of it, and soon after, conviction will set in. Prayer is a necessity and a priority for a growing relationship with Christ. We lay our deepest thoughts and feelings down, and we humble ourselves before the Lord.
When you come to the Lord and accept Jesus as your Savior, you are giving the Holy Spirit power and authority to guide you and speak into your life. Prayer has purpose, power, and peace. Prayer builds faith and spiritually matures us. The purpose is speaking life into existence over what you are praying for. Power is released through the Spirit, and peace covers you in your time with God.
We have to pray constantly, as our flesh and spirit are at war on a daily basis. Pray with intention and consistency, and you will see God's hand move. Your relationship with the Father will become stronger. All my prayers have been answered, even though there have been times I did not receive the result or action I expected. God knows our exact prayers before we speak them from our lips.
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
