Meet Elle

Elle is a Bible teacher and author passionate about helping women know God’s Word and delight in Christ through every season of life. The Lord led her to launch Daughter of Delight when she was a sophomore in college (over 10 years ago now!) Through sound, Christ-centered teaching, Daughter of Delight equips women to know the Word, love the Gospel, and walk in obedience to Christ.

I really enjoyed going through the 5 day study! I especially liked how extra guides were provided for day 3 and 4 on how to “Ask” and “Analyze” the bible. I felt that these were very great guides/tools for undergoing the sometimes daunting task of studying and understanding the Word. I wish this series was longer! The Bible study ‘Rooted’ has been a privilege to work through. The materials are easy to read; all the resources we might need are listed for us, and I have appreciated the explanations of the purpose and goals of digging deeper into Scripture.
Rooted uses scaffolding to take each of the exegetical steps and breaking them down into smaller pieces which helps me focus on bits rather than seeing them as one broad category.
I also enjoyed the beginning and conclusion of each email encouraging me sweetly and ‘hooking’ me to eagerly anticipate the following email. I always wanted to read through each email to the end and found it a privilege to do so.
I would highly recommend this to others. In fact, I’m considering how I might be able to use this for a 5 or 6 week Sunday Life Class (Sunday School) teaching.
